Need that CARB#....there is a huge California market that is not just underserved, but completely unserved. JBA shorties are overpriced and are really no different than the stock manifolds.

I don't think it would be that hard to make a stepped header. You could just buy some painted Pacessetters, the cut 1 tube at a time midway down and run a new pipe to the collector. Then once all the tubes are run then add on a new collector to house the new 1 7/8 pipe size.... The hard part would all ready be done with the base header design, adding one pipe at a time would not be that difficult...

Are you sure? I had the CA smog referee at both Goldenwest College and Fullerton College tell me that they could not find an Executive Order for these headers on a 2002 2500HD as TOG advertised. I bought them because I was told they were CA legal but they were not.

They should think about building a set of mid length, of LT headers for the LSx S10 swap market, there is a big demand for these, as the only LSX engine swap headers are he sandersons with 1 1/2 primarys and 2.5 collectors, and for a big CI build or s/c just dont flow enough. Some 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 stepped would be really sweet. Im building a 408 that is going in a buddys 1996 S10 Ext cab with a T56, that id be willing to let them use for the design and prototype build of the headers.
