Toning down 2500hd exhaust
I have a Corsa dB cat back for my 04 2500hd ccsb with a 6.0 since that was the only option they had. I did contact them and see if they would swap out a "touring" muffler but got the run around.
The system is a window rattler, it does what is says no drone ect. but I fear when I hook my 5th wheel to it I am going to hate it.
I have been considering adding a vibrant ultra quiet resonator in the tail pipe section. Or just swapping back to the stock exhaust for the summer.
I currently have a flo-pro HD (4115) 7" round 26" long installed because thats what the exhaust shop had on hand and I still don't care for how loud it is.
Thoughts?

I think I will get one and give it a try.
I haven't found a clear answer as to where they "have" to be placed. The only area I can see were one would fit on this system would be post muffler in the actual tail pipe section. Hopefully that is adequate.

So to clarify a little on this... The exhaust is loud in my opinion when going through town or cruising around 50-60 mph. I have had it out on the highway and at those speeds it quiets down quite nicely. I can actually hear more intake noise from the Volant CAI than exhaust noise.
My plan is to re-attach the stock exhaust this weekend with a set of 3" couplers and I am going to take the Corsa tail pipe section to the local muffler shop to have them "clone" it with the addition of a resonator. I want to leave the Corsa system intact as much as possible since I did spend a fair amount of $ on it. I will report back with my findings.

So I put the stock exhaust back on with a pair of couplers and have decided to just sell the Corsa system. Put it on craigslist but don't have enough posts here to put it in the classifieds.
I should have known better, I must be getting old as I prefer the quiet exhaust.
