What are your HP/TQ goals? What means do you plan on getting there with? power-adder? bolt-ons?

What do you use the truck for? towing? daily-driver? street-strip?

Do you ever plan of using a "race traction" type tire?

There is no one converter that will not sacrifice something to give you something else.

If all your planning is bolt-on performance hardware, 2400-3000 is no problem. I would lean to the lower stall if you have any plans of hauling large payloads or trailering a heavy trailer. I would go up if you plan a more street performance truck with little expectation of typical truck use. Yank and Precision Industries both make good converters...I have been very content with my PI.
