is everything else stock?

what i would do is get everything the way you want it, then have the truck dynoed, look at where the torque comes in and where it peaks in the rpm range, take half of that then decide on the torque converter

If the main purpose is track duty, then start looking at 3500 and higher converters...

237/242 .603/.609" on 112-114

If you plan on locking it I would go with a 3600, if you dont, then you may run out of gear by the end of the track depending on what you are doing with the lq4.

30" tire and a 3800 to 4000 range converter.
