I got the instructions from comp, they say finger tighten them tell the pushrod has tension then turn it 1/2 turn more. do all this with the valve off the lobe of the cam. does this sound right?

on the LS you get the valve off the lobe and tighten the rocker bolts to 22ftlb or something like that. they are non adjustable, thats why people have to measure to find what pushrod length they need on the LS motors or they just guess because there isn't any adjustment to the rockers.

LSx rockers are pretty fool-proof, torque to 22ft lbs bump it over a few times/run it and double check, no other adjustment in them other than making sure the pushrods are the right length if you changed up anything else in the valvetrain...
