TR 220 cam in a 04 Silverado?
How would it do with a stock converter? Will be going in my roommates 04 Silverado short shorty with intake, poweraid, headers, cat back and custom tuning. Probably do Comp 918s with it as well... Think the cam is too big? Ive done a lot of cams and work on the FBodies and vettes but never done a silverado cam... so I have no clue what to expect with drivability etc!

Do a search for a guy name Gustin. Look at his threads on this cam. He just installed it a month ago I think and he has dyno numbers to support it with no stall. He is getting a stall for it as I would also. Look at the tt3k for this cam or the tt2600. He did a good write up on it. You will lose a little bottom end without the stall, so I would recco the stall.
Hey, just noticed you live in Scottsdale. I am currently in the works of moving there soon. I'll let ya know.

With the stock stall, I'd expect minimal to no gain ET wise. But from freeway speeds it should pull very hard. Tuning will be a must with the 04 since it has the electric throttle body. Overall, the cam swap will be easier on a truck than car. A/C system stays charges and condenser can stay in place. Just pull the radiator and the cam will clear.

this thred is about my truck. Im really not looking to lose my low end. Im also not looking to do a stall. My past two FBodies were stalled...and that was fine. But I bought this truck to be a bit more friendly to drive. Yea yea, I know, the stall wont effect it much once I get used to it. Im just really not looking at changing it, at least not for awhile.
