TR220/220 vs. TSP220/220
Is there any difference between these two cams?
TR220/220 and TSP220/220
I know TSP camshaft has Comp Cams XER lobes, but does TR's cam have them as well? Is one any better than the other and which one do you recommend? And also, should I buy new push rods if my truck will be just cammed, 3000stall, CAI, LT's, and BB Tuned?

For the cam, I would go with the TR 220/220 but it all depends also on what you want out of it. The TSP will make more power (just a tad) and has more aggressive lobes, but it will also increase valvetrain wear more in comparison. Both are proven cams

There is hardly any difference in the 2. 30 thousands in lift and basically the same lobes. XER lobes for TSP and the TR lobes are a propieratary lobe but they are ground at comp and are very similar to the XER lobes. They are both proven and you cant go wrong with either.
You will need hardened pushrods as well as good springs. (patriot golds are hard to beat for the money 255$ with titanium retainers, and new seals/seats)
By the way I run the TR220/112 in a 5400lb. truck and it gets me from point a to b in a decent amount of time.

tr220 imo is a great cam. i had a tsp220 114, and it was real torquey. the tr220 can be ran with pac/comp or ls6 springs. Geoff at EPS can cut you a great cam too. I like mine. not as noisey as my other camsand is less harsh on valvetrain.. They have comp grind a special lobe like TR, which is who Geoff used to design cams for.
