Default Tr220 Or Tsp220?

I've looked and looked all morning on this subject and nobody really gives a straight up answer. Only difference is the lift by about .30.

Im going to be installing it in my 03 5.3 Sierra ECSB. Going with a 3000 converter, long tubes, trans upgrades, tune and eventually a tru-trac.

Which cam will I be most happy with?

Also are there tuning issues with the 112 lsa? Love that lope.

I believe the difference come from the lobe XR vs. XER

XER is more aggressive

flip a coin and go with a 112 lsa. i like a little more lift so i would go with the tsp, but you probably wont feel a difference between the 2

I would get a TSP ca, just because I got a crappy customer service when I called thunder racing. That's my reasoning Also you should consider going to comp cams website and downloading their camquest software. It's now free, you used to have to pay for it. You punch in your vehicle info, and then it'll recommend up to 6 cams and keep narrowing it down for you. Then it'll show you a projected dyno graph and just by clicking on the different cams you can see your powercurve change before your eyes. Download it before they decide to start charging for it again. No need to talk to their phone reps anymore as the info is now right in front of you.

Check it: http://compcams.com/camquest/CamQues...dInstaller.exe

It's basically like a simplified version of desktop dyno with all the comp cams figured in. It's predicting the same thing I am for my 6.0 build I'm doing. What I mean by that is bigger is not better. Don't chase after a lope. It gets annoying and tiresome to drive a vibrating/humming/shakey car around town. It's projecting on the build I'm doing (with all proper inputs) that my truck will actually put out more peak & average HP and torque up to 6K with the high lift version of the 212/218 than it would with the 220/224 comp sells. Just use the dang software and see for yourself

i highly recommend the tsp 220/220, .564/.564, 114lsa w/xe lobes.. not too loud but a killer cam.. you'll have to get it custom grind cus tsp doesnt make it anymore.. all the trucks i've seen it on have gotten really impressive numbers.. I'm planning on switching to that cam in the spring, i have the tr220 112lsa
