Thunder racing grind thier own cams? TSP are all ground by comp correct?

comp grinds thunders' cams also. they have their own proprietary *sp? lobes.

TR's lobes were developed before the xer's came along. the TR is in between the xe and xer. Like I said, I'd go with whichever is cheaper. I'd honestly doubt you could tell a difference between the two, and obviously people have very good results with both cams.

good deal, thanks for the info guys. I figured that there wasnt a difference to be seen for the most part. I'll have to decide pretty quick here I guess i'll be ordering it within a couple of weeks. If I went with the TR cam would the ls6 springs hold up as well as the 918's?

whats the ICL on the TR220. TSP has a 112 +4 degrees of advance ground in.

I wouldnt go with LS6 springs. Way too risky imo.

The PAC springs are $122 from SDPC and are a much better choice than the LS6's. $70 is hardly anything when you consider the price you'll be paying if that ls6 spring breaks and a valve drops.

I believe the TR has 4 degree's of advance ground in as well

I would go with TSP. It's a proven cams on the 5.3s.
