I can't say for sure, but going by hearsay on here... it'll be pretty big. Loss of lowned, big revver, etc. etc.

The trend lately seems to be bigger and bigger cams in trucks. I think similar to how the F-body guys evolved to bigger cams.

I want to get into the motor and start playing with cam swaps soon. Got the money aside, just need to take that $1200 plunge and find a nice weekend.

Granted, I went from a 4.8 to a 5.7, but I love the TR224 in my LS1. I don't have nearly the idle problems that I thought I would have. Still need some tuning, but I'm VERY pleased with the results so far.

It shouldn't be too big, you've got almost 20" more over an LS1. You're gonna need springs, rods, maybe retainers too.

I'd still do a stall now and a cam later...

What about the 224/224 112lsa? It would move the powerband down alittle. Alot of f-body guys love both cams and say the idle pretty good.

Yea that would work well. Any 224 setup weather on a 114 or 112 lsa will work well.
