those numbers are looking alot better. If you get some longtubes and a good stall, I would stay under 3000 if you go off-roading or tow alot and i think that you would be in the 14s no prob.

F8L Z71: I did a search, and Island Dragway (Great Meadows, NJ), is 180 feet above sea level. I ran the 15.684 at 4:13 PM on May 7, 05. It was about 70*, and hella windy. Not sure of the humidity, but I don't think it was that bad. As far as extra weight, I have a Pace Edwards Jack Rabbit retracting tonneau cover (gotta be 85-90 lbs), a GM drop in bedliner, and a bunch of little crap (Infinity Basslink, roadside repair kit, crap in the console...probably an extra 50-75 lbs). I normally weigh about 175, but I ate a track burger and 24 oz. of coffee before the run lol.

greentahoe: Yup, I've already got the 02 PCM...I check for KR periodically (don't have any logging software, just a cheapo AutoXray, so I gotta scan while I drive), and it's been good.

BeefTip: I don't do any off-roading or towing, but this is my daily driver. Any suggestions on which stall to go with? I've been thinkin TrailBlazer...or even a TCI Saturday Night Special (2200-2400)

exhaust can hold you back
Ive gained at least 4 tenths in the 1/8th just screwing around
with mine
TOGS TD magnaflow with xpipe and a little 45 after the xmember

lets see .4 x 1.56= .624
I think thats the 1/4 conversion

LOL

It's tough because the only data I can find is for Somerville which shows an elevation of 1040ft. ABSL.... If I use that data I come up with a 2012ft. DA. Which isn't goo dbut it isn't completely horrible.

Now if you say that the track is 180ft above sea level then the DA would have been 953ft. I would assume it would be warmer also so making the temp 70deg instead of 66.9deg would bring the DA to 1152ft.

Soooo We have a worst case of 2012ft and a best case of 953ft.

If EVERYTHING was perfect and you were at sea levelyou may have ran a 15.3 but that is still too low and doing these kinds of conversions don't always pan out.

So It's my estimation that somewthing is wrong or holding you back big time.

Well, whatever it is, it's been off for quite a while...my nubers last year were real bad. (16.5 @ 81.7 w/ bolt ons). Were they filling the frame rails with lead in 99 lol!?

Not sure...don't have any good logging software. Gonna have to take a ride with my AutoXray hooked up...I know that I was seeing over 30* with the VHP tuner, but I swapped the PCMforLess tune in this week and haven't had a chance to check it.

Oh yea, for what it's worth, I was launching up against the converter, at around 900-1100 rpm.
