This was my 1st pass down the strip since I installed the converter. Keep in mind that I was on my 285/60/17 Toyo Proxes and still managed to pull a 1.9 60 foot. I launched at about 2,500 RPMs, and then hit the spray around 4,000 RPMs while I was still in 1st gear. Next is a cam, and a bottle warmer. Hopefully I'll be in the 12's with STREET tires. Not too bad for a stock 4.8 on juice.

What size converter did you install? That's a great time with the 4.8L. There's no way a 125 shot would put my 4.8L in that time range. Now get that reaction time down.

I figured that, I was just fwy. That's the converter I have in my floor right now. I thought that is what you had. Thanks for letting us know how it performs. I was really wanting to know. Keep it up!

very bad *** times, I am going for 13s on all motor with my 4.8. I started the tear out today for my cam and head install. I had decided to get my heads ported and polished from a local. I will buy a set of CNC stage 2 heads when I start building the 408. I would say 12 are very possible for you with a cam.
