Track times with 220/220 cam please?

Do the 243 heads make a big difference on the NNBS trucks?

i think mid 14s is definetely achievable.. i went 14.8 with the 4.8 and same mods except cam.... bolt on 4.8 with 3000 stall, headers, in a ext cab with 4.10s.... on 26 inch drag radials.... i think small tires are the key part... because i could only do 15.3 with the 31.2" tires/ 20" rims....

Mine ran consistent 15.0 its a 2005 z71, auto,220 cam,Lts no cats,stock conv,342 grs,a/c on, custom tuned, in 2wd,and weighs 5420lbs full of fuel. Shes a real cheetah turd

why would u have the a/c on???
which 220 cam do you have?
was your time at a track or something else like a G-tech? (just makin sure)

and i forgot to mention my tune sucked real bad!! my new tune thanks to charcold-bowtie is a whole lot better!

Surely he could run with my SSS if he has a cam? All I had was a mild tune (PE added, shift points changed) a drop in muffler, and HD-2 shift kit with vette servo and an AEM CAI and ran a 14.30. My truck should weight the same since it's AWD and surely the cam would bring the power levels on the 5.3 up to the 6.0. Once we went deeper into the tune I know I picked up some time but I haven't been back to the track.
