Default track times for cmotorsports turbo kit

he told me about it so i guess it is ok to share.

5.3 at 9psi on pump gas and stock slipping tranny.

prety sad launch , i am prety sure this is thru full exhaust but i didnt ask, i dont think he has a cut out on there.

2.59 60' 14.1@105

ET sucked but the mph looks like it would be good for some 12's with traction.

Yep, looks like some high twelves are there with a good tranny and traction.

my buick on 93 pump gas went 12.4 @106 so that truck should be able to run 12's with traction. As far as full exhaust, wouldn't that kit come with exhaust. If it doesn't it would have to have exhaust run from the down pipe to the stock collecter where the y pipe bolts up. I dont think the stock muffler would hurt the performance of the turbo much.

Is he running at altitude? He may be giving up a lot of hp due to the fact he's running at Las Vegas. The 2.59 60' time is pretty slow to,with 4wd,good tires and a converter 1.7s should be easy. With a 1.7 60' you're all ready in the low 13s at a lower altitude mid 12s add 80 cid and some tuning and you're getting pretty serious.

droping .8 on your 60' will give ALOT more than .8 on your 1/4, i have heard as much as double but that seems a little high.

just looking at the fastest truck list and his mph he is in the 12's easy. the nhra track in vegas is right aroun 2000' so there is a little corection factor there but with turbo's i think that corection factor is less important.

take what he has and toss in a 1.7 60', 6.0, cam, no cat, cut out, and maybe another psi. where the heck would that put me? i think high 11's on pump gas are in the bag, maybe mid 11's with some good gas, maybe low 11's with a 50shot.............

Hey guys, remember I rode in that thing. He has the T76 turbo, for future upgrades, so there is a huge turbo lag off the line. It didn't start to pull till well after 2500 rpms. He has 3.73s, which aint bad, but he has a G80, and a tranny that does not shift into next gear but seems to slowly fall into it. Huge slippage on the transmission. Stock converter which is stalling at about 2800 to 3000rpms, all due to slippage, so it is not really grabbing at all! I tell you, off the line, my truck would jump over his, but then once you are moving, man it presses you into the seat until it shifts, then there is that realy long shift time, but it felt damn impressive when I rode in it! I can't wait to get my transmission and my torque converter installed, then in about 1 to 2 months, turbo on my little standard cab!!!!!!
