But he didn't say anything about where, he just asked how to hook. Slicks will do it, a posi and traction bars help too.

well you can get good tires... good traction bars, and 1000 horsepower, but nothing is going to help you if only ONE of your tires are spinning......... believe me, i still have peg leg and it sucks.

Another vote for Cal-tracs here
Also good tires, and if he doesn't already have it, a posi. With all of that the truck should hook bigtime.

I am with the one tire fire crowd.

You never know jsut how bad your traction is until you get a 3000 rpm stall. I am yet to see what happens if I even near floored it from a stop, but I'm sure I'll make clouds.

But yeah.... get a posi or a locker!
