That's awesome James.... is that from the Hoe?

I think I can do it myself.... I'll just save the 200-350 bucks.

This is the gayest thing ever because, though I can leave a nice mark, I just can't use it like I want to now. I'll have to pay another 500 or so to get it there.... and I could of used that to buy a 75 shot....

Derek, once you go the posi route, you still might not have all the traction you desire. You might want to look into a set of caltracs or something. I know they don't seem as cool as a 75 shot, but your 75 shot will be useless if you can't put it to the ground!

I am hoping by splitting power to the other tire will do the trick. I know I want be able to floor it on the launch or anything with just an Eaton, but I could at least take it to the strip like I intended.

I've seen universal traction bars. I know they aren't as good as some Caltracs, but they are about 50 bucks.... Any experience with them?

Get an Eaton posi and have a professional install it. If you do it yourself and it's not right you will have no end of wasted time and money. IMO

I've never had any experience with slapper bars on trucks, but I have caltracs on my Camaro and they rule! Even though you'll be slitting power to both wheels, it won't help the fact that the leaf springs will wrap up, create a loss of traction and possible wheel hop.

www.calvertracing.com

They DO make them for our trucks!

They're like $320 plus S & H, I don't have them on my truck, yet.....but I want to get some! PM me if you guys want to do a group purchase...maybe we can't get a little discount.
