Re: traction bars
i have an 03 sierra with the hotchkis 2/4 drop and edelbrock ias shocks, yet I still experience some pretty wild rear end hop when launching hard.
i have a set of lakewood bars I picked up from a local cheapy auto parts store. They were only like $30 but the supplied u bolts are not long enough to bolt on.
Does anyone out there have lakewood bars on their trucks? If so how did you guys install them? Is there a place where I can get longer u bolts?
thanks for any info! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Re: traction bars
lakewood makes bars designed especially for our trucks. but if you get the universal ones longer U-bolts will allow you to install them with a little adujusting. the lakewoods killed my wheel hop.

Re: traction bars
My 99 Tahoe 4x2 wheelhops so bad from a dig that I don't even try to floor it from a light but roll into it... I have leaf springs. I can't imagine the shocks are that dead, the truck has 120K on it.
