Default Tranmission question

I am going to change the trans fluid and thought I would change the servo and accumulator pistons at the same time. My primary usage is transportation and towing (7500 lb). I was thinking along the lines of Corvette Servo and GM aluminum accumulator Piston. Any advise appreciated..

If you dont' have a shift kit with the stiffer springs in the accumulator, you probably don't need the aluminum one. the servo would help though and it is an easy change.

I just talked to a guy who builds performance trannies and he told me that a shift kit and servo would put my tranny at risk(it has 63k on it) if i didnt build up everything else together. He told me that he had just installed one on this guys truck and that they had to seriously tone it down because it shifted so hard. He said that it still wont shift 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd without chirping the tires. I know that is probably what most want but i am on a budget and he told me that the tranny would be gone really soon if i didnt upgrade the rest. So he told me that he could tweak it a little to make it shift a little cleaner and harder to make me happy and then when ive either torn it up or am ready to fully prep it bring it back in. Just thought i'd offer the "guy with a smaller money tree" point of view. The guy also told me that what i wanted to do would for sure have me in his shop rebuilding it within the next 20k miles. Hope this helps a little.
