i think you guys are missing a 0 on those numbers everything i've read said we need about a 19000 gvrw or bigger 22000+ for ones with a high performance stall

just do a search for trans. cooler

I'm thinking of getting a 3000 convertor, do I really need a tranny cooler?

trans coolers I would rec using a good name brand
I always use B&M on all my veh's
I use their 24k cooler
GVW is gross vehicle weight = meaning truck plus whatever else you are towing/hauling

Hey tx, thanks for the link I just ordered one yesterday. In the Pace catalog that same coler is like $75 I guess they are having a sale on them or something?? I figure they are all about the same. Tubing and fins.

Should I completly bypass the factory cooler, or use both? If I use both, which line to I tap into for the aftermarket cooler? Top or Bottom. Is this pre or post of the factory one?
