Hi all. Throwing a t56 magnum in my RCSB. I bought an On3 oversize radiator that has a trans cooler included. Do you think I could use the trans cooler as an ac condenser?? Trying to keep the truck clean and simple. AC is not a huge factor in Northern California coastal areas, but I wouldn’t complain.

Most likely not. The return side of a trans cooler is unpressurized, so it will not experience much pressure at all. AC on the other hand can be very high pressure and is subject to thermal stresses as it heats and cools (read: prone to cracking).

Yeah, that makes sense. Thanks a lot for the quick and easy reply. Looks like I’m just going to have to either tough it out for now or get creative. Lol. The big ole inter cooler is taking priority over AC today
