'06+ models were factory filled with Dex VI.....

There are no additives in Dex VI, Dexron VI is synthetic, Dex III is not..........

If you already had Dex VI in your truck, refilling with Dex III is not a wise idea....

 

I'll wait for FLT or performabuilt to chime in. I've heard they don't recommend synthetic, but that may be myth.

 

id love to hear from them on this. whats different internally from an 06 to 04 or something trans?

 

I asked Frank about using Dexron VI when I ordered my trans and he said it was fine.......

 

I've heard the same. Would be nice for the to shime in on thise. I'll be needing a flush myself soon.
