transgo and servos

Lightbulb transgo and servos

got the new billet's in (now have no fourth gear ???? and yes i did put both billets in) and still no hard shift in 1st.... torque managment maybe ?????

The seal on the billet OD servo is more than likely cut. Take the servo cover off and check that seal.

If that's the case, when you get a new one, put the OD plate in the cover, then stick the whole thing on there making sure not to **** it to the side in the cover or pull it out of the cover. Use a small screwdriver to help get the seal down so it will fit right.

What do the beefier servos do for the trannys?

to tell you the truth nothing really that my transgo didnt already do...

They have more fluid area than the stockers. That creats more pressure on the band and makes the band apply quicker (2nd and 4th). It will also have more holding power than the stock ones.

Well if that's the case, something is wrong. My old '99 Z71 had only a TransGo whereas the '01 I have currently shifts MUCH firmer with the billets.
