Truck feels like a school bus going up hills.
The worst part is, I live in the hill country........
Every time I head up a moderate incline in my truck, it downshifts and is just flat out anoying!!!!!!!! It did fine with my 265's but I just got some 285 nitto terra grap's and my truck seems sluggish.
Any help would be a godsend.. It is a 99 and has almost 190000 miles.
My thoughts are:
1 ASP underdrive pully
2 electric fans
3 possibly some lower gears if I can afford it(and doesnt hurt my fuel economy)
I have the nelson tune, exhaust, intake, and some free mods.
Thanks for anything and everything.....

hill country does suck but the best part is when u go down the other side of that huge hill. i got some electric fans(i think the flexalite 210) and there was no problems with overheating in stop and go traffic even with pulling a 3000 pound car and i could tell a slight difference it made my truck pull a little harder on top end

I wish I could swap out my 5.3L. But I dont have the money in the first place, second I dont have the resources to swap a newer engine.
But some e-fans and maybe some headers are somewhere in my near future.
Thanks
