Default truck thermostat same as f-body?

I was just wondering if there is any difference in the thermostat or the housing between the trucks and the f-bodys. Also what is the factory t-stat temp? I was thinking it was 195 is that correct?
Thanks.

Its the same thermostat. Hypertech part #1014 is the 160º thermo which fits 1997 - 2003 LS1 5.7L and 1999 - 2003 GM 4.8/5.3/6.0L. The 04+ trucks have an LS2 style engine. They are a little different. The housing doesn't come with the thermostat.

If you get a thermo, make sure you get the 160º since the 180º won't make much difference.

Just to clarify- the 04 truck doesnt have a LS2 style engine, they just use the GTO LS1 style thermostat. I wish it had an LS2 style engine, a easy 400hp LS2 swap would be sweet.
