Default Truck wants to die when coming to a stop! Help!

So the past week it has been getting warmer here in mich. During the winter months I have to let my truck warmup for atleast 4 mins before I can drive without my truck dieing. Well sense its getting warmer out I figured it would stop and not die. Well today my truck died about 4 times. It only dies when I'm coming to a stop. I do have a stall cam headers the normal stuff. Could this be a fuel or ignition problem? I have not cleaned my maf in awhile but idk im lost and don't know where to start. It surges down to like 200rpm then comes back up to 700 800 rpm. Please help!?

Mine did the same after the cam install. It needed more idle air in the tune... that and I drilled the hole a little bigger in the throttle blade because my IAC valve was full open at idle.

o.k,making sure you didn't have ported ls6 heads! I just had an issue on my cousins truck where his ported ls6 heads were cracked and leaking in the intake runner of the #7 and #2 pistons! It ended up costing him his motor, and the symptoms where the same as yours at first! Down cylinder compression will also cause this, but your problem might not be this serious.

How big of a cam did you put in there?
