cool man. i just got my flexplate and spacer in. i am not going to fab my crossmember. i have a buddy that is a good fabricater. he is going to do it for me. good to hear she is up and running.

Hey flyer, did your truck slow down any with the 80e in it. I've heard that it's to heavy to turn and would cost about 3-5 tenths so I should go to the 65e.

I think he slowed 2 tenths.

I was getting some knock right off the line, 8* as soon as I would launch. I haven't been to the track and made some clean passes. It turned out both exhaust pipes were banging the crossmember.

I would call my last time to the track not very accurate for that matter. It seems like I've read somewhere that 1* of timing on a boosted engine will equate to about 10rwhp, so multiply that by 8 and that's a pretty significant hit right off the line.

I know mine slowed down with the stock HD 80-E converter. Once I swapped it for the 3000K 11 inch verter it felt "about" equal to the 60-E.
