Default True dual exhaust guys

I know y'all get tired of all the exhaust questions. Sorry here's one more. Has anyone done true duals (preferably with an x-pipe) with the same mods as me? Been wanting to do it for a while now basically for the sound at this time. It will be cammed with either spray or forced induction after tax time next year. Just no single muffler satisfies me soundwise when I've had duals on everything I've owned before. I know the general consensus is loss of low end power with a little gain up top. My ? Is this... Will the addition of the stall compensate for any low end loss I may would have? Right now as you all know it will break them at will under 30ish. People who've went to duals from single 3" on stock motors or just cammed I'd really like to hear before and after comparisons please.
Thanks.

I have dual pipes with a DI/DO 3" Magnaflow. It is basically a dual system with a single muffler. I don't have low end problems at all. It has traction problems under 30. I honestly wouldn't care anyways, I would rather have a great sounding system that gives up a couple HP rather than a system I didn't care for the sound and the extra HP. I look at a system as 80% sound, and 20% HP. This is my daily driver in the nice weather, and I would think differently if I were just racing it.

I just had a system custom fabbed for my 2500HD I had 3bolt flanges welded to the headers with the drivers side crossed under the trans and then another 3bolt flange on that so I can remove it to drop the pan then it goes into a narrow x pipe from summit and into two borla xr1 ovals 16in cases and dumped before the axil and it sounds pretty dang mean!

I have LT's no cats going into an x-pipe with 2 14" magnapacks, then dual tips straight out under the roll pan on my h/c 6.0...its loud and sounds mean as heck! But its actually pretty quiet in the cab! It's all 2.5" btw

My system is Longtube headers, running an X pipe where the Y pipe use to be and running a DI/DO 14" magnaflow with shorty tailpipes. I love the way it sounds! With a cam full bolt ons and built tranny and rear end. it works. I did not run 3" true duels for the reason that it would make it to free flowing. I have 2.5" enstead, which works for my driving style, the type of racing I do and the way my truck is set up. Just depends on your personal prefferance and what it has done to it now.
