Default True Dual exhaust help

I recently picked up a used truck which is my new daily driver, truck is a terd compared to the ecsb , but its better for me. Truck has a 4.8 with factory converters still, and then its goes into 3" exhaust consisting of dual cutouts going into dual flowmaster 10s dumped, i am not a fan, no disrespect, of flowmasters, and want to change it, the two mufflers are ran so close together that i could hack them off and put a dual inlet, single or dual outlet muffler to tone it done, i just want a single muffler although exhaust is set up for duals now, whats a decent muffler? i had the corsa, loved my tbss, had a 14" magnaflow(lots of drone) whats a happy medium for a quiet exhaust that isnt loud but not factory? dont want a bullet, not sure of slp loudmouths, but i know i would need either a dual inlet muffler to replace the 2 flowmaster 10s with single or dual outlet, or 2 single inlet single outlet mufflers thats toned done, any thoughts? gonna take pics of the exhaust and how it is ran tmrw, have cutouts open now, and you can really tell that this exhaust limits the trucks capability, even though its not a performance truck.

run a dual in/ single 3" out 18" Magnaflow. or even a 22" depending on how quiet you want it.
you have no need for a dual exhaust on a stock 4.8.

Magnaflow has soooo many configurations of mufflers that its really your choice.
small = louder and viceversa

I will be switching out my flwomaster to a 18" magnaflow aftr finals nxt wk.

whats your current setup? i had an 14" magnaflow before, had some drone to it, i may do just like you said but with the bigger 22" magnaflow, now to determine if i want it dumped or exiting out of stock location or straight back

on my ol' 4.8 i had catless dual 3" dumped with a 22" magnaflow and it was loud.
then i went dual 2.5"turned down at the bumper and it sounded great.

on the new truck i ahve a single 3" in-dual 2.25" 13" flowmaster. exiting out the rear. ( it came witht he truck) Its quiet with the small pipe and cats
I will be going to a 3" 18" glasspack into a single 3" in-dual 2.5" 18" magnaflow both swept to stock location.
should have some good sound and flow really well.
we shall see.
