how does the stall affect it running down the highway?? cause will it be close to what rpm it will be running at down the highway.

As long as you get a lockup converter to use with the 700R4, highway RPM's will remain the same no matter what stall speed you get.

Gear Ratio will depend on tire height and if you decide to use nitrous. I would think a 3.73 - 4.10 gear would be a good choice.
Nitrous on 93 - 94 Octane I would start out with a small shot of nitrous say a 75hp shot. What we generally do is Start with a small shot, make a 1/4 mile pass on the nitrous and listen of detonation (if you hear detonation get out of it) and shut of the motor as soon as we cross the traps, pull over on the return road. Have a plug socket and spare plug and carefully swap the plug. Mechanics gloves help big time. Then check the plug for detonation. A light brownish color is normal, sandblasted look means light detonation, and wet/black or dark looking deposit is a sign it is rich. If you run into light detonation you may need to go up on the fuel jet, reducing timing, and/or running a higher octane fuel. The KB 156 Piston is a hypereutectic piston so personally I wouldn't go over 150hp nitrous.
A friend of mine is running a 3600 Converter behind a 383 SBC w/Vortech SC at 12psi and a 700R4 Trans and a 3.42 gear in a 94 Reg Cab Pickup. His 700R4 is built as bad as they come. However every time he has tried running ET Steets at the track he has hurt the trans. Killing it everytime he drives it which is 3 - 4 times a week the trans generally lives about a year. His truck with no weight reduction ran a best of 11.70 @ 127mph on radials (gave a whole new meaning to pedalling it). Pure street truck and hearing it idle you would never think it is capable of running 127mph in the 1/4. It cruises like a stock truck on the highway. Hope this helps.

i wouldnt even mess with nitrous on those pistons..i ran a set of kb pistons in one of my circle track motors and it pulled the pin out the bottom of the piston...but i turn 7400-7700 rpm in my motors..i use forged srp pistons..a friend of mine had the same thing happen in one of his motors..
