I haven't checked my piston's yet to see how far out of the hole they are but I'm more than likely going to go with a .041" head gasket with these heads should put my LQ4 around the 10.6:1-10.9:1. Basically make an iron blocked LS2

The 317 heads are 74cc where the 243's are 64cc. Just the head swap alone on a stock Lq4 with standard .054 headgaskets should put you at about 10.2:1. Thinner head gasket and now you're up to wherever the head gasket puts you
