TT3000 stall questions
How much of e.t. reduction if I installed a 3000 stall, any effect on gass mileage? Should I install a trans cooler? Also does it put more strain on the trans than the stock converter when you floor it?

I've heard as much as .5 off of your 1/4 times, main gain is in the 0-60 time. This isn't personal experience though, mine won't be in for a couple weeks, but I am installing a tranny cooler at the same time as the converter/transgo/vette servo. The rebuild shop said a transmission cooler would help alot with transmission wear so i decided to have it put on as well.

I knocked a good solid 4 tenths off my ET with my Yank TT3000, going from a best of 14.98 to a best of 14.57. My 60 ft times are maybe a tenth to a tenth and a half faster....as traction can be an issue. I am running the factory trans cooler and an Escalade cluster with a trans temp gauge. The Yank TT3000 is in my opinion the single best mod you can do to one of these trucks other then forced induction or motor swap. Drivability isn't even a concern. My fuel mileage at first seemed much worse, although I think much of that had to do with my driving habits! It's been in since around X-mas, and my mileage really on average hasn't changed....as long as I keep my foot out of it! I don't know what kind of times you are running now, but being your truck has simillar mods as mine, and your's is a regular cab...I would expect low 14's out of your truck with a Yank.

Traction aside .... I dropped .7 with the converter and a shift kit. The shift kit helped a lot since it has a much quicker shift and a lot less time for TQM to do it's damage.
Like BigKID said, there is going to be traction issues.
