Had some work done to my truck an now it runs like a , what would cause it? I think the tune got erased, so who should I go with now? It had a street tune an ran great but the tc lockup wouldn't happen till 55, want it to lockup around 45 to help my mpgs some with this stall. So let me kno who u like and why. He disconnected the battery, had to change my ac compressor. Family friend did the work.

Disconnecting the battery wont "erase" the tune...Maybe talk to your tuner and see about getting a retune..

He took the negative off first, I thought that reset the pcm

No, you can't erase the tune just by disconnecting the battery.

Sounds like the pcm just needed to relearn idle, as for the OBDII port, check the fuses as mentioned as this is quite often the case when you don't have communication at the OBDII port.

All that does is reset the long term fuel trims. No biggie. (Also clears any DTCs)

What about the lockup happening at 55? how is everyone elses set like?

I thought my lockup was 41, but since I'm gettin terrible MPG, I think I'm gonna change it. And some other things too at least on the tranny side.

Who knows what else, but I need better MPG of out mine, cause it's killin me @ the pump, plus what gas costs too. And my lockup in my particular case, can be an issue in traffic, so I hope to stop it from lockin / unlockin by adjusting as needed.

I planned on doin it today, funny I saw this.
