Default Turbo 400

anyone have a 400 on the NBS?

I know you won't be able to use the pcm to control it, but 400's are dimensionally very similar to the 80E's. They're always being called the TH400 with an overdrive. They share the same gear ratios too. It will bolt up to the engine, but it will require a special flexplate...I think. Also the converters don't have the lock-up function. Nevertheless they can be bulletproof, and when properly upgraded will take your 800hp goal! Can you say TRANSBRAKE!!!

I looked into doing the opposite (swapping a LS1 w/ my TH350) in my car, and the flexplate was the only major hurdle with the tranny. Companies make them though, talk to Street & Performance. Your driveshaft will have to modified most likely. Keep us posted!

Yep, texas terminator in Frisco does. I rode in yesterday and its one bad mother!
