Default Turbo and blower guys. Launch PSI?

I am looking to see what you guys can launch at PSI wise and what your combos are if I don't already know them

I have a TT3000 which is supposed to stall at 3k on a stockish truck. i have no friggin clue what it stalls at now with all this new TQ though. I am using a GT67 turbo with an .81 exhaust housing.

In 4wd I press on the brake about as hard as I can and start applying throttle. After a few moments boost starts to climb and I keep pressing hard on the throttle and brake till I get about 7psi. I might be able to get more but I take so long getting it that high (about 4-5sec) that I am afraid of heating things up. I am sure I can get it that high sooner but I am still practicing.

At 7psi the launch is just plain stupid. I'm sure you have all seen the 10sec C3 video where the truck is rocking back and forth. That's exactly what this feels like. i swear it feels like there are people on each corner of my truck just rocking it around. Each corner dips hardcore as I blast forward.

So how are you guys doing it? Don't be bashful, I wanna learn something here

Drop the torsion bars down till the tie rods set level this will cure your problem my truck launches with about 750-800 ft lbs of TQ at the flywheel and this solved my problem.

My truck seems to like flashing it. The lower I stall it the harder it leaves. Seems like 1500 is a sweet spot. I can only pull 1.8x 60' though. At 1500 I'm still under vacuum. I tried leaving under boost once and it wasn't pretty at all. I ended up blasting a red light by about .135 and making a scene at the light.

get a Harlan 2-step. My car wouldn't build any boost with a 3200 vig. The 2 step cut my 60' and 1/8 mile from 1.7s-1.8 and 7.1 down to 1.61-1.63 and 6.75s...this is on et drags with no traction probs. My motor is at 8.75:1 compression so it doesnt have much *** untill the incons are spooled

My verter flashes to about 4300rpm. Thats about 6psi. I stall it up to 3000 and let off the brake and punch it on the third yellow. I had that rocking back and forth problem too. Your front suspension maxes out and the tie rods toe in your wheels. They alternate traction and rock you side to side.

You'd be surprised how smooth the launch is when you lower the torsion bars. I took out my lift blocks and lowered the front about 1.5". It launches really smooth now.

Ok that does it. If 3 or 4 of you are saying it makes that big of a difference then I am going to do it. So you just took out the blocks in the rear and droppped the front about 1.5"?

I didn't want to lower it any because I like the look of the stock Z71 and I won't be able to fit my bigger tires under there if I do this but if it will help my 60' and make things smoother then maybe I should.

Do you have to get an alignment done afterwards?

Ohh, and Parish, is your truck done similar? I ask because your trucks ride height looks fine to me so it makes my decision easier

It'll make things a TON smoother. You need 2wd u-bolts for the rear axle(shorter)

I got mine re aligned.
