got this today from cammotion why can't they gimmie the 1.8 grind in the 1.7 form like .579(1.7)/.577(1.7) instead of .579(1.8)/.577(1.8)
On a forced induction motor, the intake lobe doesn't need such an aggressive ramp rate. Natural induction motors use faster ramps to help pop the valve open quicker, where the head flow is higher. When the intake is under pressure, a slower lobe can be used.

However, I don't know if this applies to your setup.

this is the other they said but i'd have to upgrade my springs
The closest thing we can do would be:
Grind # X2161-2081-15+3
Dur @ .050 218 intake and 214 exhaust
Lift 564 intake and 545 exhaust (1.7rr)
Lobe separation 115
Intake centerline 112
This would give you more lift on the intake and that is what matters. You

So you're giving up a degree of intake duration (218 vs. 219) in exchange for .017" of additional lift (.564 vs .547). That's basically your decision.

Regardless, I think you'd be fine with the LS6 springs with either cam.

I think either cam would be great, and there would be so little difference between the two that you would never notice. It's your call.
