Turbo guys: before/after 1/4 runs?
I'd love to know any before/after 1/4 mile runs for the Turbo guys/gals.
I know of one truck that hit a 16.7 stock and is now at 13.7 with the STS kit and Meth (maybe he'll jump in this thread?).
Anyone else? Times?

I was all out N/A (except heads). My raceweight was 4900lbs and I went 14.29@97mph 2.0 60'.
After the turbo I went a best of 12.3@110mph 1.85 60' on a slipping tranny and a 5250lb raceweight. One those runs I was at 14psi in 1st and 2nd gear then 15psi in 3rd. My normal 60's were 1.80 but that last run the trans was throwing a fit. Should have heard my friends laughing when the truck started banging off the rev limiter on the 2nd to 3rd shift.
I found out the hard way that you can't take your max N/A time and slap a turbo on and expect to knock off the same amount of time as someone who is stock. LOL

it's a big debate to compare the 6.0L to the ls1, but i do think they are reallly close.
they both have their advantages.
stock 6.0L + 5psi - 11.99, I would have expect something very close to the 13.3 with the 6.0L and no turbo, I did drive it around just to see how the stock 6.0L felt and it was very close to the ls1.
Expect to drop at least a second if you're already in the 14's. A lot more if you're up in the 15's or so. It's just hard to predict what a truck is going to run.
good luck,
allen

i think that torque magmt had alot to do with my stock times..allen took alot of it out but i dont know how much..prolly almost all of it from this 80e trans.i have the base kit sts and an ic up front in the bumper but im also on 305/50/20's too...i think i could run a quicker time if i go back to stock size tires tho...
