Default turbo a supercharger

I've got a 4.8 with a mp112 blower. I've heard that this blower will only support 550-600whp. My question, can I increase the limit by adding a Turbo? Or even nitrous. I've seen it done a lot but not to familiar with the details. If I have my blower pulleyed to the max, lets say 12lbs, I add a Turbo so now it gets boosted air going into the blower, so would it make more boost more power?

Its called twincharging, and yes it can be done... You need to put a clutch on the SC from what i know and have seen so the turbo takes over after it spools and lets the SC turn into a plenum... Correct me if im wrong?

correct several have done it and yes its possible.. its same principal of doing compound turbo... the supercharger doesnt care whats coming into it.. ie if you are making the supercharger push 12lbs then add a turbo doing 4 lbs it will be compounded and be more.. exactly how much i cant say but i have also heard that when guys do these set ups they make it so the bypass valve opens once the turbo is at full boost to alow more flow to get to the engine..

Thanks I just needed to hear from someone else that it would work. And having the bypass open isn't even something I've thought about but will now.

Sell the supercharger, buy a 76mm turbo and crank the boost up. You can sell all your mods and buy the turbo instead of sinking 10-15k into being able to run mid 10s. Just my opinion and the way I would go if money wasn't an option.

That bypass valve was my idea When you don't care about how much it costs, its a viable option.

That's the whole point of build everyone, not to b just a Turbo. Its my idea and I wanna go with it and see where it gets me. Everyone has their own opinion on what's cool. And to me there's nothing cooler than a blower whine so the blower stays regardless what is done. It'll b unique ride and that's exactly the point. But still thanks everyone for their input itS helping a lot!
