Default turbo thoughts....

i have an sts turbo setup but i am thinking about going front mount anythoughts.... which one does everyone prefer....is there anything that i can save off my sts if i decide to go front mount

I did exactly that when I built the very first KB Racing kit that is on my truck. I will tell you this, peak HP will be about the same, track times will be similar, assuming you brake stall it into boost for the launch so there is no lag, but the REAL difference will come on the street where you drive it everyday. Spool time is MUCH faster, especially if you use the same turbo you have on the STS.

You can use your same turbo, fuel system and intercooler if you have one. In fact I sell just the hot parts of my kit for guys looking to do just this. You would with out a doubt be happier with the way it performers in a front mount vs a rear mount.

Well, it's just the pipes, you would still need oil lines and to finish out the exhaust to the cat back. Also, to make the waste gate connections, but that can be added to the kit price. Probable some other misc stuff depending on how your STS is currently setup.

Here is what the base hot pipes comes with...

okay well i have the sts gt67 turbo with the meth kit, 42 lb injectors, fmic, electronic boost controller, boost gauge, exhaust temp gauge, wideband, so what else would i need

Sound about like your covered, other then the install and misc hardware and stuff should be a fairly easy job

1,000,000,000,000 Dollars....... DONT DO IT.... Mount the turbo BEHIND the REAR bumper.... MUCH BETTER than front mount!!!!!!

JFWY.... Sounds like all you will need is a oil supply line (shorter than the one you are using) and possibaly the return reconfigured..... Where is you turbo return now???
