seal cost 26 bucks. freaking a/c belt was 21.

If they are standard diameter pins you can get some dowel rod the same diameter as the pins but like 4 or 5 inches long and line it up before pressing it on? Know what i mean? Line it up using the longer dowels then press away.

yeah thats a good idea. I want to get it apart to wrap my head around it, I'll measure the dowels then...maybe...I am pretty lazy. Which could lead to drilling more holes.

Problem is the dowel hole doesn't go all the way through the balancer. There is nothing to line up to on the back side of the pulley.

Good luck getting those little ******** to line back up. I did it once but it was a PITA IIRC. You could try marking the pulley and crank. Might just be easier to drill more holes.
