Congrats, I'm running the clear on mine. Looks good but it took more time than i expected.
The rubber clamps are a PITA.
Make sure to use some silicone stuff or vasaline (sp?) Soapy water just doesnt do the trick.
It definatly is a good looking intake, and performs better with it. I would suggest 'cleaning' the lower air box of the snorkel and opening the intake a little more, I plan on doing this soon. Any time I open the hood i draw some people b/c its clear and looks so damn good.

Nothing but positive comments from me about my UPD. I went with black for a "factory" look and absolutely LOVE the sound.

 

If they come out with a 99 5.7 Vortec airbox I need one!!!!!
