For the $200 price tag or $170 used they aren't worth the bang for your buck. Spend that money towards a cam. I'd underdrive last of all things. I'd could maybe see almost a 1/10th drop if they really gave you 5rwhp...

If you do decide on a UD pulley, install it the same time as the cam. Aftermarket pullies are a tight fit, so you don't want to play games pulling/pressing it on and off.

May be by itself alone its not worth it but as part of a bunch of bolts ons going in at once then I would say yes.

I'm doing electric fans, 4.10's,Truetrac, UD pulley in a week or so all at once.

southeast ga,

i already have 4.11's, efan, cai,tune,

like i said the other stuff listed is on my list of things to put on but have been working 7 days a week so havent had down time with my truck. just put NGK TR6 plugs in today and either the gap is off or, its in my head that the truck lost power, or i actually lost power.

had ACDelco 41-985's in gapped at .060, and gapped the NGK's to .040 because thats what i kept seeing when researching them was around .035-.045, so HOPEFULLY since i have tomorrow ,sat, sun off i'll be able to figure that prob out, decide to get the UD pulley or not, and MAYBE slap the LT's on if i can find a lift my truck will go on., low truck's suck

My truck and my little brothers are damn near identical setups. He's got an 06 Vortec Max with an LQ9. Mine is a 05 SSS. We both have CAI, LTs, exhaust, 160 t-stat, and he's mail-order tuned by Allen Nelson and Im live tuned. I have an ASP underdrive pulley. He ran a 13.86 on 28" et drags. I ran a 13.80 on 26" et streets.

If I had to do it again, I wouldn't install it.

I ran with my 22s up front, and rear bumper with my 13.80 and his vortec max had 17s up front, and a rollpan on that 13.86 pass.
