UPD 5.7/L31 airbox is on the way!!!!!!!
For those L31 guys on the site, Karen contacted me, and after 6 months of waiting the 5.7/L31 airboxes are done!
I elected to get a black one since I don't plan to show'n shine that much.
Since I last ran the Tahoe at the track I rebuilt the transmission since it was slipping in 3rd and 4th, and installed a used Dynomax catback.
Depending on whether the rear gear is bad I will upgrade to probably a 3.42 if I have to or keep my 3.08's...
I went 16.8 stock with no changes, but after a tuneup, !air filter, and !spare, I went 16.3.
I think that It's currently around a 15.9 but with the airbox, maybe a gear and HPP3 I would like to hit low 15's that would be pretty bad ***.

Email her at:
sales@ultimatepd.com
With the air filter I think it was around $170...
I have not wanted to pay almost $300 for a K&N FIPK...
Man I am pumped I could really use like 2 more tenths I raced a 96 Impala SS up to 120mph and if I had had a bit more power I could have pulled on him.

This is the air cleaner I run...about twice the size of a Volant and they go for $100 from Whipple (used on 454 SC trucks) and include a large K&N air filter...here is my tech article on it:
