Well if and when you get a chance, and you want it fixed just PM me.

I am working on recreating my current setup out of steel (lid and tube), some people have shown some interest, so hopefully I will be selling a few setups soon. Once I get the template made it should only take a few hours to make the lid and tube, both out of 18 gauge steel. Steel is actually easier to work, alot cheaper and less messy than fiberglass.

Default UPD Lid in steel......

Well the fiberglass version of my lid is starting to warp, so I am going to make one out of steel. It is about 60% done, but still got some metal forming to do.... It doen't look like much but, when it is finished it will look great...

Wow that is some good sheet metal work. I have been in the metal working industry for years. But I was just a Certified Pipe welder, I did a lot of fabercation also but not much sheet metal. I did a lot of sheet metal welding but not fabing like that. How much would you charge for a piece like that.

Thanks, it is fun at least to me to do stuff like this. I have about 2-3 hours into it, and that includes planning....

PM sent about the price...

I had a UPD.... Piece of **** kept falling apart. Intake tube seems kept splitting. Got tired of that....... Also got tired of trying to get them to warranty the thing so I took it off and got rid of it. Then they went belly up........ Gee I wonder why!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also have mine for 3 years and not one problem with mine. I love it. Volant ram air to the stock bottom box, UPD lid, strait 3.5 or 4.0 aluminum tubing going to a Mac Performance elbow and then the 80mm TB.
