Default Used Engines-Where to Buy

Where are you guys finding "affordable" engines online? Looking for LS3/L92 engines- whatever codes don't have AFM/VVT. Can be long block, with or w/o accessories. But it can't be 8k like eBay seems to think they are worth

Don't really wanna talk about why

I'm assuming you mean new?
L92s I believe all have the AFM hardware but I cannot remember.

I am sorry for your loss.

I know but you've been saying your next one is going to be a crate

Also car-part is the best resource. You can find an L92 for about 2 grand with all the fixings on it.

Uh-huh tell it to the judge

Car-part is probably the best. I don't know what kind of population you have on Facebook Marketplace but I have seen L92s go for $2k about

Not even worth it I've looked into it. Most of those junkers end up selling for retarded money even though they are beat to all hell

I just pulled my H/C 370 (CNC ported L92 heads) out of the truck to replace it with a 402. Even though the 370 has Diamond pistons I believe it has Gen 3 rods (w/ARP bolts) as it was from an early Silverado SS. Still sitting on the stand with all the covers. Believe it made 420whp on Futral's dyno many years ago.
