why is it contrary? if they gain power isnt that what were looking for? you just take the valve covers off and put em on and then get the truck tuned and you make more power right? how is that a bad thing? oh and what rockers would gain me the most power and tq?

huh... well, maybe that would be good for me if I plan on not doing a cam... im still up in the air with the whole idea, just because it is soo expensive and alot of work to do yourself... so maybe rockers a converter and another tune would be a nice gain? and then stop there on my power mods... i dunno though yet

I had thought about that but I have no idea where to start... I was trying to figure it out, but couldnt decide what to do. What kit are you going to run? I would love to do a converter and then nitrous. That would be sweet! As long as it wouldnt kill my tranny and it would be reliable...

Im new to it also so I cant really give you any answers. Im going to really look into it before I do it though. From what I have found, it's the cheapest hp you can get. Nitrous outlet has a kit for Gm trucks for like $350 then you need a window switch for about $140 and a pressure gauge, I think, for around 50. Maybe some more stuff, im not sure.
Everyone has told me that I could run a 100 shot all day long in my truck and be safe. 150 is the highest that you would want to go stock, from what I hear.
