One more thing, for fuel you may need to get the fuel rails that allow for return style. I do not know what year 4.8s got rid of return but I am assuming that yours is returnless. Could always just switch to returnless but then later on if you want to boost it you will want to go back to return probably.

The 03-06+ engines also have a 3 wire oil pressure sender vs 1 wire on the 99-02. That's another thing I swapped on truck, as my donor engine came from an 04 Yukon XL.

Easy enough to swap.
