Default Valve cover spacers needed for Harland sharps?

I'm running Harland sharps 1.7 non adj. on 243 heads . The. Spring has a max lift of .650 and the cam is spec for .600 . Has anyone had problem with the harland sharps needing valve cover spacers to avoid clearance issues?
