There is talk of boosted valve float on this page here.

Xtreme is most likely logging the IATs. If you are still working on the tune, make sure Allen knows about this issue. I highly doubt its valve float. I spun my stock motor up to 12psi with no float.

According to that article, because of the 5 psi he is pushing, his seat pressure is reduced by around 20lbs. I wouldnt think that would be enough to cause valve float, especially at only 5000rpm....I still think it is in the tune. I dunno, you should talk to one of the sponsors here. They could give you a definite answer.
