Default Valve locks and retainers 7 or 10 degree??

When it comes to choosing 7 or 10 degree valve locks and retainers who is running what on stock GM 5.3 valves?? The 10 degree products cost more, is there a benefit? Any opinions...

10 degree valve locks and retainers are typically used when running extremely high spring pressures associated with radical solid roller cams. Due to their design they are stronger and thicker to create more surface contact between the locks and the retainer to spread the load better across the retainer. I can't see any benefit if your still running a hydraulic lifter as spring pressures should not get high enough to take advantage. When I say high spring pressure I'm talking 300+ lbs. on the seat.
