FWIW, I'm going to run the Crane duals, which are good for .600 lift with that cam. I choose them because 1.) they are from the same manufacturer so they are designed to work together, especially if I add their 1.8 rockers later, 2.) There's a slight safety factor against dropping a valve should one of the springs break, 3.) They are supposed to be one of the quietest springs, which was important to me.

hmm, so the crane's dual spring design quiets them down? Getting ready to port/polish and upgrade a set of heads here and since I'm gonna be cammin it soon, looking into aftermarket springs.
